Boracay is still dirty!

TO support our claim that Boracay is a dirty place and not good for tourists anymore, we are quoting here two columns from national papers, viz:

1) Philippine Star, June 18, 2007 issue, in the column “As a Matter of Fact” by Sara Soliven de Guzman, par 9 and 10:

“How can you call Boracay a ‘world-class tourist destination’ when its airport is too small, cramping all the travelers in one hot and SMELLY (emphasis ours) room?” - (par 9);
“For heaven’s sake even the Port Area in Boracay is nakakahiya. Pathetic! No order, no system, not clean and very SMELLY (emphasis ours). This is what you get for electing people who are NOT EDUCATED NOR CULTURED (emphasis ours) – their standards are so low”. (par 9);

2) Manila Bulletin, June 19, 2007 issue, in the column “Chaff from the Grain” by Hector Villanueva, entitled “The decline of Boracay”, par 3:

“The place itself (Boracay), sad to say, has become a Divisoria market of sorts, overcrowded, segregated, expensive, unsanitary, waterless and subjected to frequent power outages.”

Di ba nakakahiya!!!!????
