a message from the sampaguita gardens

Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Sampaguita Gardens where we celebrate Christmas all year round.

The year 2006 is about to end and the dawning of a brighter new year is almost upon us. I said a brighter new year because Sampaguita Gardens has shone incredibly well this year and in the previous years. In 2005 Sampaguita Gardens won as Most Outstanding Resort (Visayas Awards) during the 2005 Philippine Excellence Awards, an honor bestowed by the Philippine Marketing Excellence Awards Institute, the Asian Institute of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and the Marketing Insights Magazine. This year, Sampaguita Gardens was hailed as Western Visayas’ Best Resort (Class AA) during the Regional Tourism Excellence Award 2006 from the Department of Tourism, Region VI.

In 2007, we move forward with the tagline: “More than just a destination, an experience” and we will promote the resort on the premise that “Everyday is Christmas at Sampaguita Gardens.”

We are fortunate to have a unique product touch point as the first and only Christmas resort outside of Europe, the Continental United States, and North America. We are fortunate to have a caring human touch point with dedicated and hardworking people who understand what costumer satisfaction is all about. We are fortunate to have a system touch point that enables us to take the lead in the hospitality industry on this side of the country, with products and services that become indelibly etched in the memories of our guests.

One of these products is Precious Moments, which can be found at Jojo’s Christmas Cottage, a focal point in our guests’ resort experience. This vibrant and dynamic product has touched and continues to touch people’s lives not only because of its excellent design and superior craftsmanship but even more importantly because the products continue to inspire people all over the world.

Recently, Precious Moments Collectors from the United States visited Jojo’s Christmas Cottage here at Sampaguita Gardens and were impressed by what they saw. If we can please the most discriminating collector, it should come as no surprise that we are able to make cosmopolitan Filipinos jump for joy when they come to realize that they can have their own Precious Moments collection without going abroad. As a bonus, they get to enjoy the spirit of Christmas at Sampaguita Gardens no matter what time of the year they decide to visit.

The coming year poses such incredible challenges. But we are ready to buckle down to work. Individually and collectively, to make greater strides in the hospitality industry.
