KALIBO, Aklan – Police beat reporters in Aklan organized March 17 the Aklan Police-Defense Press Corps (APDPC).
APDPC P.R.O-elect Jun Aguirre of Hala Birada Newsweekly said the group will to hold its induction ceremonies March 24.
Elected to serve a 2-year term are Noel Cabobos (The Daily Guardian), president; Jujet Reyes (IBC-dyRG), vice president; Alex Carlo Magno (RMN-dyKR), secretary-general; Edzel Mainit (Bombo Radyo), treasurer; Ronel Irodestan (CBIS Hot FM), auditor; Jun Aguirre (Hala Birada), P.R.O; and Rolly Herrera (WV Regional News), business manager.
Elected to the Board of Directors are Boy Ryan Zabal, chairman; and members Arnel Vicente (Bombo Radyo), Ron Bautista (RGMA-dyRU), Jun Villorente (Madyaas Pen), Arnel Relampago (Kalibo Cable TV), and Isidro Rasgo (Aklan Cable TV).
The APDPC founding officers and members will be inducted into office on Saturday by Sr. Supt. Benigno “Bong” V. Durana, provincial director of the Aklan Provincial Police Office, at the Kusina sa Kalibo along Mabini St.
